Over the course of 10 weeks we will prepare mind, body, and spirit for a group performance at the next Pussy Empowered PARTY on Saturday, June 22nd at Haus of Ghetto Stiletto.

Join Pussy Empowered Dance: Performance CLASS
In community, you will feel supported on your journey of getting performance ready! Over the course of this series, we will prepare mind, body, and spirit for a group performance.
But rather than memorizing choreography, the focus of this experience is to tap into your authentic embodiment and expression.
Together we will create a playground of exploration. We will listen to how our bodies want to move, practice allowing ourselves to take up space and let ourselves be witnessed. We will also learn a Pussy Empowered Choreography that will invite you into a collective experience as we play with embodied affirmations that anchor you into your power.
In celebration of this journey, you will then have the opportunity to perform in front of an audience of paradigm shifting, intentional, supportive movers and shakers in the Pussy Empowered Community alongside some of LA’s most in demand performers at the next Pussy Empowered PARTY on Saturday, June 22nd at Haus of Ghetto Stiletto.
All levels welcome. All genders welcome.

FAQS
Do I have to wear heels?
Heels are encouraged but optional! We will be training in heels from the beginning of our classes so you will gain a level of comfort with them before the performance if you so desire.
What if I’ve never danced/performed before?
How exciting! All levels are welcome in this class and whether you’ve never danced or you’re an expert, you will unlock new realms of expression and embodiment in this class. Perfection NOT required at any point.
What if I have experienced trauma around my sexuality?
Yes, sometimes on the path of liberation, trauma, shadows and old stories come forward along the way even in the midst of all the fun. As a trauma informed coach, it is my ongoing intention to hold a space that provides tools, feels safe and supportive the whole way through, no matter what your herstory is or where you are on your journey of healing. What if I have to miss classes?
You can either make up the class you missed at the other location or Zoom in. It is encouraged that you don’t miss more than 2 classes since we will be preparing for the performance the whole way through.

Whatever you want! As much or as little as you desire. You’re welcome to dress up or dress down. Its up to you!

Patriarchal models of power have centered ‘power over’. But this is not the only format in which the concept of power exists. In the words of Brenee Brown, there is also ‘power with’, ‘power to’, and ‘power within’. These uses of power are responsible for all kinds of amazing contributions to the world such as the impact of a grassroots movement like Black Lives Matter (power with), the ability of Kamala Harris to become the first WOC Vice President of the US (power to), and the commitment Cardi B has to being herself despite the haters (power within).
PUSSY
There are many words used to describe the female genitalia. But most fall short of describing the entire female reproductive system -external & internal. When I use the word Pussy, I am often referring to ie: uterus, vulva, vaginal canal, cervix, ovaries etc.
I am also often referring to femininity and the experiences that go along with the biological, societal, and cultural experience of identifying as a woman whether assigned at birth or not.
My work may not resonate with all who have a biological Pussy*, if for example you do not identify as a woman, but it might. And it may not resonate with you if you identify as a woman but do not have a biological Pussy, but it might.
This community is diverse in many ways
including
gender identity, occupation, and ethnicity.

Alyssa is a lifelong anthropologist of Pussy Power, Pussy Empowerment Coach & Sacred Erotic Creatrix.
Throughout her professional career she has worked as a fashion model, writer, editor, artist, performer of belly dance, burlesque, samba, and exotic dance. She is one half of the artistic duo, Flash The Abyss which is currently in the final stages of completing a documentary exploring modern female flamenco performers in Spain.
Over the last decade, Alyssa has studied with many of the top voices in female empowerment in the nation.
Through her offerings and art, she is passionate about inspiring the feminine to stop settling for crumbs and create a world where womxn feel empowered to live their embodied truth.
